Who You Are

A Mid to Senior Level Full Stack Engineer who is enthusiastic about building scalable and reliable
web solutions. This role involves both front-end and back-end software development, suitable for a versatile
developer comfortable across the entire stack. 

**Only applicants based in Latin America will be considered for this role.

Location:

• Fully Remote (client based in Atlanta, GA)
• Expected to work east coast hours

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications.
• Work with technologies such as Java, JavaScript, Node.js, MySQL, Next.js, React, and AWS.
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and system design.
• Collaborate with leadership and senior members of the team to conceptualize new features.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Adhere to security and data protection standards.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

What You Know (Qualifications)

Necessary Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Java, Springboot, MySQL, JavaScript/React.
• Experience with Next.js and React is a must.
• Knowledge of SQL databases, specifically MySQL, and crafting stored procedures.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Experience with continuous integration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in full stack development.
• Demonstrable ability to build complex web applications.
• Highly proficient in both front-end and back-end coding.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of Elixir is a plus
• Fintech experience is a plus
• Startup experience is a plus
• Familiarity with payment processing systems or financial services applications is highly regarded.
  Experience in migrating legacy systems to contemporary architectures is beneficial.
• Knowledge of DevOps and automated testing is a plus.
